There are plenty of supermarkets in the Perth area including an Asda, Morrisons, Tesco and an Aldi’s and Marks and Spencer food hall at the Inveralmond roundabout.
If you are in need of something and don’t want to go far there is a really well stocked Nisa in Bankfoot, where you can find all the daily essentials lots of fresh produce.

We love The Taybank for lots of reasons. They have the best beer garden next to the River Tay and if you like wood fired pizza then this is the place for you. Sit in the sunshine with a cold drink and a freshly cooked pizza with some of the best skinny fries around. The Taybank do lots of special events too including Long Table dinners, live music, open air cinema nights and they now do brunch on a Sunday. Worth checking their website in advance to see what they have going on during your stay so you can get something booked.
Breakfast, lunch or some fantastic home baking with freshly brewed coffee. The Beatrix Potter garden and museum is located here and they run lots of creative classes including pottery sessions with Ellen from The Kiln Collective.
An artisan bakery located on Dunkeld’s high street. This is our favourite place for a treat following a walk at The Hermitage. Fabulous coffee and daily fresh baked goods including breads, cakes and if you get there early enough I highly recommend the fresh, warm and delicious Pistachio Croissants. There are a couple of stools for sitting in but, if the weather is dry, there are benches down by the side of the River Tay and it is just the most tranquil location for your Aran indulgence.
